a1-cbiss was born in 1989 as a systems integrator of emissions monitoring systems. To this day, we continue to go from strength to strength. Using expert engineering knowledge, we provide project design, equipment specification and system integration. Our 15 man strong service and maintenance team with specialist industry experience, installs, calibrates, commissions and services your gas system.
Based upon this experience, in 2005, we began developing our own gas detection systems. Today, we are still developing our own gas detection analysers plus offering those of other manufacturers. As with all of our products, we can sell them as individual products or we can integrate them into a full gas detection system.
Founded in 1989 in Wirral, North West of England, we established our name CBISS, in designing bespoke analytical sampling systems with a strong emphasis on engineering, design and technical experience. Acquired by Diploma PLC in 2006, the name change sees the introduction of a1-cbiss. We benefit from the protection of PLC backing but are still ran with the energy and enthuse of an SME which gives our customers that extra personal service.
a1-cbiss are based across the River Mersey from Liverpool in Birkenhead, in the North West of England next to the one of the most famous names in British industry - Cammell Laird known for its shipbuilding expertise. Our head office and engineering house is suitably located near to marine and engineering facilities that surround the River Mersey coastline.
Although we are based from Wirral, we supply into all areas of the UK. We have have service engineers strategically placed around the UK for quick response to site.
