Founded in 1989, CBISS established its name in designing bespoke analytical sampling systems with a strong emphasis on engineering, design and technical expertise.

1997 - CBISS agrees UK & Ireland agency with Environnement SA for CEMS & AQMS product range, offering complete turnkey solutions including - in house design, engineering, software and service specialists.

2006 - CBISS acquired by Diploma PLC. 100% owned by Diploma Holdings, we run today with the energy of an SME but with the protection of PLC backing. (www.diplomaplc.com). CBISS is renamed a1-cbiss.

2007 - a1-cbiss expands its business into portable & fixed gas detection, offering a wide range of gas detection tubes to portable & fixed gas detection instruments.

2008 - Launch Automatic Refrigeration Monitoring System ‘ARMS’ to meet compliance requirements of F-Gas Legislation and EN378 – with over 150 sites across the UK, a1-cbiss are now establishing European distributors.

2009 - Achieved Full MCERTS accreditation for CDAS - CBISS Data Acquisition Software.

2011 - New Product Developments:

• New version 2 ‘CDAS’ Data Acquisition software on new VS2008 Platform
• New version 2 ‘ARMS’ Panel with increased functionality and reduced size
• New Environnement SA CEMS Products to market 2011
