Sniffers & Samplers
Utilising the latest photo-acoustic and electrochemical sensor technology, the bespoke sampling and sniffer systems manufactured by a1-cbiss will meet your exact needs. As each one is custom built to your specification, we are able to tailor the system to include just what you need and leave out what you don’t, saving time and money on both capital expenditure and on-going maintenance costs.
a1-cbiss would recommend the installation of a sampling/sniffer system in applications where over 8 points of detection are required to save costs. This is made possible because the gas sensing takes place within the system rather than installing a gas sensor at each point of detection.
Providing the flexibility to measure up to 6 gases per system, the latest versions of the Sampler and Sniffer systems are designed to operate in a number of applications - breweries, car parks, confined spaces or various other applications.
We offer 2 types of systems:
The Sampler – an aspirated multi-point system connected to an external analyser.
The Sniffer – an aspirated multi-point system connected to an internal sensor/analyser.
Traditionally, the sampler systems are 19” rack mounted, connected to a photo-acoustic analyser and available with up to a recommended 32 sample lines* (Larger systems can be built depending upon gases to detect, application and what you are trying to achieve (please contact us for a consultation)
Sniffer systems can be custom built into any size enclosure and can be fitted with almost any gas sensor/gas detector you like. They can feature the same number of lines as the sampler systems.
On both the sampler and sniffer systems, the internal electronics and layout are designed to provide a wide range of flexibility with regard to on-board I/O. In addition to this, system settings (accessed via the LCD touch screen display) are more menu driven and intuitive than on other systems. This enables on-site configuration of all settings, including sample/dwell times, channel names/zones, alarm levels and relay configurations.
a1-cbiss have recently completed a bespoke gas sampling system for the detection of Ethylene Oxide. View our case study here
