Detecting and displaying up to 4 gases simultaneously, the PS200 gas detector from GMI is suitable for providing gas detection in a host of applications across a variety of industries thanks to its IP67 rated casing. The PS200 is particularly suited to the shipping and marine applications because of the Marine Equipment Directive (MED) approvals to support the SOLAS regulation XI-1/7 which came into force in July 2016.
The MED approval is recognised by the wheel marking - a ship's wheel.
The PS200 can be configured to detect a combination of Methane, Oxygen, Carbon Monoxide, Hydrogen Sulphide, as well as other flammable gases.
A robust and accurate portable gas detector, the Personal Surveyor (PS200 Series) provides protection in confined space applications with audible and visual alarms in the event of exposure to flammable or toxic gases.
A lithium-ion battery provides run time of up to 80 hours* when using the low power LEL sensor (however, this needs to bought as an extra).
When your PS200 battery has completely run flat, re-charging only take 4 hours. You can expect an 80% charge within 2 hours of re-charging.
The PS200 has a built-in safety feature which has the ability to turn itself off when calibration is overdue. This forces the gas detector to be calibrated.
The PS200 retains the last five bump test and calibration data. In addition to displaying all gas readings simultaneously, the user can also initiate a manual bump test anytime using the low-cost Auto Bump/Calibration (ABC) test station. The ABC station dramatically improves compliance record-keeping, efficiency, and accuracy. Once the PS200 is placed in the dock it can be tested, calibrated, and charged.
This PS200 gas detector comes with data logging as a standard feature. With a memory capacity up to about a year, the PS200 can record everything. Including when it goes into alarm, through the session log feature.
Additional optional accessories: Include a 5-way charger and coloured rubber boots for multi-site or multi-application working.
The PS200 comes complete with:
Instrument supplied complete with, User CD, Quick Op Guide, Universal Charger/Communications Cable, 6 months Calibration certificate.
Upgrade to a Pumped Gas Detector for only £79
Do you already own a non-pumped PS200 but would like a pumped unit? Buy the pump assembly (part number 64255) and a1-cbiss will retrofit it
The Auto Bump / Calibration Station
The Auto Bump/Calibration station dramatically improves compliance record-keeping, efficiency, and accuracy. Once the PS200 is placed in the dock it can be tested, calibrated, and charged. Extremely cost effective, the station requires no testing and minimal effort by users
Rubberised Protective Coloured Cases
The PS200 comes as standard in rugged, black casing. To provide maximum protection, rubberised protective cases can be fitted to the detector. These are available in 7 colours (black, grey, yellow, red, orange, blue and green). Choose alternative colours for quickly and easily classify multi-site or multi-application working.
