The GDU-Incus is an ultrasonic gas leak detector built to detect ultrasonic frequencies generated from pressurised gas leaks.
It is available in stainless steel or orange ceramic housing, sealing it against the harshest of environments. The sensor active element is a piezoelectric material (a material that converts mechanical deformation into electrical voltage) embedded in a ceramic medium, which means that it is more durable, offering a longer life than existing microphone technology.
The GDU-Incus has a self cleaning function to ensure that every sensor is free from contaminants, as well as this, the GDU-Incus can carry out integral self testing during which it still carries out leak detection.
It compromises of 4 sensors, giving it a great detector range and sensor redundancy. Each sensor is free of moving parts and will not age, drift or need to be replaced during normal working conditions.
