Entry & Rescue Tripods
IKAR confined space entry and tripods are used to enhance your safety whilst entering, escaping, and accessing enclosed spaces. Rescue missions can be performed effectively by winching an injured person in a harness to safety.
IKAR's robust rescue tripods can be set up / taken down within minutes by a single person. The high-quality tripods are made from lightweight aluminium which makes them transportable and the legs are individually adjustable to be used on uneven ground. They do not require a safety chain or band around the bottom of the tripod as the rubber feet keep the rugged legs securely in position.
They're rated for up to 2 persons use and have been tested to EN 795:2012 Class B and CEN/TS 1614.
IKAR rescue tripods are designed to use the following items: load winches, rescue winch devices for up to 42m or fall arrest blocks.
a1-cbiss have designed a bespoke confined space entry kit which includes a tripod, fall arrest recovery device, brackets and deviation pulleys, two-point rescue harness, ELSA escape hood a four-gas detector.
