Gas Samplers Systems

Gas Sampling Systems are used to lower the cost of gas detection in applications where multiple sample points are required or where the positioning of conventional gas sensors may not be practical - breweries, chemical plants, tunneling, wastewater plants, car parks, retail refrigeration, and confined spaces.

Potential Problems for Conventional Gas Sensors

Conventional gas sensors may be prohibited by cable routing, access for detector head installation, harsh environmental conditions, oxygen depletion, or inability to deliver a cost-effective maintenance/service plan.

Why Opt for a Sampling System?

a1-cbiss would recommend the installation of a sampling/sniffer system in applications where over 8 points of gas detection are required to save the costs of placing individual gas transmitters/gas sensors. This is made possible because the gas sensing element takes place within the system rather than installing a gas sensor at each fixed point of detection.

Engineered and gas sampling systems have the flexibility to measure up to 6 individual gases per system - flammable, toxic and oxygen gases. Onboard relays activate alarms, interface with fire and gas detectors and distributed control systems (DCS).

Utilising the latest photo-acoustic and electrochemical sensor technology, the bespoke sampling and sniffer systems manufactured by a1-cbiss will meet your exact needs. As each one is custom built to your specification, we are able to tailor the gas leak monitoring system to include just what you need and leave out what you don’t, saving time and money on both capital expenditure and on-going maintenance costs whilst ensuring safe operation.
