We Completed the UK's Toughest Challenge for Claire House

This is the moment to the relief of the a1-cbiss team when they crossed the finishing line at Tough Mudder.

On the 17th of November an eleven man team of a1-cbiss’ employees took part in Tough Mudder, a 12 mile mud run and obstacle course designed by the British Special Forces.

We are pleased to say that the whole of the team completed the grueling course after obstacles which included:

Swimming through a claustrophobic's worst nightmare - a water filled tunnel Jumping through fire Being tasered numerous times Wading through a skip filled with ice cold water Having to pull themselves up 6ft walls with their mud sodden clothes weighing them down
The Tough Mudder course is designed to test all around strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie and the lads showed just that.

The objective was to raise £7,000 for the charity Claire House Hospice which will buy one day of funding.

There is still time to show your support. Please visit the a1-cbiss Just Giving page

Claire House is a hospice for children and young adults (up to the age of 23) in Northwest England. It is a ten bedded hospice, but due to a lack of funding, Claire House can only afford to open eight of the ten beds meaning many local families will not be able to access the care and support they need.
