The OdaLog Dry Dock reduces recovery time for the OdaLog L2 by half.


OdaLog gas sensors absorb moisture at the same rate of recovery. The calculation for how long to ‘dry’ excess moisture from the sensor remains the same between both SL and LL model OdaLog Instruments. Use of the OdaLog Dry Dock, reduces the recovery time by half.


This speeds up the downtime and allows odour control engineers to re-deploy the OdaLogs back into the sewer.

Details

The OdaLog datalogs gas concentrations for a period of time but deployment within the sewer is limited by humidity and the toxic nature of the wastewater environment. 

Whilst the OdaLog has been designed for this environment, the OdaLog's gas sensors will require recovery time in what we call 'office' conditions (dry, air conditioned, warm)

The OdaLog Dry Dock Halves Recovery Time

Due to the deployment / recovery time being inversely relational (each gas sensor recovers at the same‘rate’ it absorbs moisture), the calculation for how long to ‘dry’ excess moisture from the sensor remains the same between both SL and LL model OdaLog Instruments. Use of the OdaLog Dry Dock, reduces the recovery time by half.

Recommended Deployment / Recovery Time

OdaLog SL models should be deployed no longer than 1 week at a time (with 3.5 days recovery on Dry Dock or 1 week in ‘office’ conditions)

OdaLog LL models should be deployed no longer than 4 weeks at a time (with 2 weeks recovery time on Dry Dock or 4 weeks in ‘office’ conditions)

As a general rule of thumb, when dealing with environments which ‘often’ rise above 80% RH
