Pulp and Paper

Common gas hazards include: Carbon Monoxide (CO), Chlorine (Cl2), Combustible Gases, Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S), O2 (Enrichment/Deficient), Sulphur Dioxide (SO2) and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC).

Pulping methods that turn wood into paper based products have a threat of toxic gas from bleaching agents.

These toxic gases include Chlorine, Chlorine Dioxide and Ozone. The mechanical processes used to drive the pulping create flammable gas risks such as Methane.
