Gas & P3 Filters

P3 Filters for respirators offer protection against particles such as dust, smoke and aerosols. They are compatible with our range of respiratory masks and offer a higher protection level and have more effective filtration and can therefore be used to protect against more harmful substances and higher concentrations of contaminants.

P3 Gas Filters

Gas filters for particulates (P3), gas or a combination used on purified and supplied air respirators. All filters comply with EN14387.

    What are P3 Filters?

P3 filters, also known as particle filters, are a type of respiratory protection device that is designed to protect the wearer from inhaling hazardous particles. These filters are typically used in conjunction with respiratory protective equipment such as masks and respirators.

P3 filters are rated to filter out at least 99.97% of airborne particles that are 0.3 microns in size or larger. This includes particles such as dust, smoke, and fumes, as well as biological agents such as bacteria and viruses. P3 filters are commonly used in industries such as construction, mining, and healthcare, where workers may be exposed to hazardous particles in the air.

P3 filters are typically made of synthetic fibers that are arranged in a highly efficient and compact configuration. This allows the filters to provide excellent protection while also allowing for good breathability and comfort for the wearer. P3 filters are typically disposable and should be replaced when they become damaged or clogged with particles.

There are several benefits to using P3 filters:

    1) P3 filters are highly effective at filtering out harmful particles, with a minimum efficiency rating of 99.97% for particles that are 0.3 microns in size or larger. This includes particles such as dust, smoke, and fumes, as well as biological agents such as bacteria and viruses.

    2) P3 filters are compact and lightweight, making them easy to use and comfortable for the wearer. This allows workers to wear the filters for extended periods of time without feeling uncomfortable or hindered in their movements.

    3) P3 filters are disposable, which helps to prevent the buildup of harmful particles and ensures that workers are always using fresh and effective filters.

    4) The use of P3 filters can help companies to comply with safety regulations and prevent costly accidents and incidents.
