Our Charity Work
Working with local charities is an integral part of our values as a company. At a1-cbiss, we offer our support through fundraising campaigns, donations and by giving up our own time.
In 2019, a1-cbiss were visited by Mark McVeigh who talked through some of the excellent work that the Owen McVeigh Foundation does for children who are ill with cancer and their families who live in and around the Liverpool and Wirral area.
After listening to Mark and watching the Owen McVeigh video, it was pretty clear that our staff were keen on fundraising for the foundation.
Owen McVeigh
As a team, we discussed a number of fundraising ideas. We were keen to pick a fundraising event that is challenging but requires a teamwork ethic.
Throughout 2019, we climbed Wales' tallest mountain - Snowdon, tackled Tough Mudder and held weekly Tea & Toast mornings to fundraise for the foundation.
Our Fundraising Target
Our commitment was to donate at least £3,500 to the Owen McVeigh Foundation. On 10th Sept, we presented a cheque to the Owen McVeigh Foundation for a huge £3555.28
We'll continue to support the foundation throughout 2020
The Owen McVeigh Foundation is a registered charity - number 1167794. Please consider donating through our JustGiving page
