Description

The LumaSense Photoacoustic Gas Monitors are highly accurate, reliable and stable quantitative. Their measurement principle is based on the photoacoustic infrared detection method. This means that they can speciate between almost any field gas that absorbs infrared light at a very low detection limit (PPB range) enabling you to identify individual gases.

Photoacoustic Gas Monitor INNOVA 1412i

APPLICATIONS

  • Research
  • Indoor air quality
  • Occupational health & safety
  • Ventilation analysis
  • Hospitals
  • Agricultural production
  • Exhaust emission monitoring

SELECTED FEATURES

  • Very little regular maintenance
  • Selectively measures a wide range of gases/vapours
  • Linear response over a wide dynamic range
  • High stability (low drift) makes calibration only necessary 1-2 times a year
  • Extremely reliable due to self-testing procedures
  • User-friendly procedures for calibrating the monitor, presenting and analysing measurement data via the PC user-interface

Gas Detection Limits

Appropriate optical filters (up to 5 + water vapour) are installed in the Photoacoustic Gas-Monitor INNOVA 1412i’s filter carousel so that it can selectively measure the concentration of up to 5 component gases and water vapour in any air sample.

INNOVA gas monitors can be configured in a very versatile way from a total set of 27 optical filters. Overall the filter portfolio enables high accuracy spectroscopy measurement in the so-called mid-infrared footprint region [4-15 microns].

Each optical filter has a narrow bandwidth for a very good selectivity. Furthermore, the Photoacoustic Gas Monitor INNOVA 1412i can compensate for interference between the measured field gases, using the unique Cross-compensation feature.

With its highly sensitive photoacoustic detector and its selective sensing design, the INNOVA 1412i’s detection limit is gas-dependent but typically in the ppb region
