Description
This IKAR DB-A2 Tripod Bundle with 12m Recovery Inertia Reel Aluminium Confined Space rescue tripod is designed for rapid set up for use in confined spaces. It can be used on its own with a connection to the central eye bolt or with a bracket assembly on the rescue tripod leg and a pulley wheel complete with karabiner, so an IKAR HRA recovery device can be used.
The total weight of the 12m tripod bundle is 30.2Kg. It should be noted that this IKAR aluminium rescue tripod is CE marked against EN795 under the PPE Directive and should be treated as such and NOT as lifting equipment, by complying with the requirements of the PPE Directive the requirements of LOLER will be met.
Recovery Inertia Reel Info / Specs Fall Arrest Block with an integral recovery mechanism, available with 12, 18, 24,30,42m galvanized steelrope lifeline in an aluminum housing to EN360:2002 and EN1496 This aluminum housed fall arrest block is a sturdy, low maintenance device fitted with a steelrope lifeline, terminated with a steel double action hook, to be used in conjunction with DB-A2 aluminum tripod, to protect the user when ascending and descending a vertical shaft i.e. entry into a vertical access confined space such as a sewer system .
This fall arrest block also has a built in recovery mechanism, which is engaged by pulling a pin on the side of the block and engaging a winding handle. This then allows the device to be used to lift or lower a casualty post fall, or if they have become incapacitated.
